Mindful Self-Compassion
The scientific research on self-compassion is expanding at an exponential rate. This 8 week coaching course has so many benefits for motivation, creativity, resilience, improved communication and more caring relationships. For writers, this course is so beneficial in getting those words on the page and reducing anxiety around your work.
Mindfulness
The very popular and well-researched practice of mindfulness has been shown to have so many benefits - people have written whole books or courses on the subject, so I won’t try and summarise here! I can coach mindfulness as a short course or combined with other topics or as a single practice.
Values
Values define who we want to be; they are superior to goals in that an awareness of what is really important to you, allows you to move in that direction and take action towards serving those - no matter how small.
The process of change and development
I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy which, again, is about values and action and building psychological flexibility.
Developing meaningful habits
The habits and routines that we set up are what determine our success day to day. There is absolutely no need for change to be scary, change can be gentle and kind. In fact, you’re far more likely to let it stay if it is the latter.
