Hello, I’m Nicola…
A Positive Psychologist and tutor, my passion for writing and stories is life-long; I stepped onto a conveyor belt into law in 1995 and became a Solicitor in the City; thankfully, I escaped just under ten years later. I qualified as a teacher of English which was a delight. I have been supporting individuals, students and businesses as a coach and tutor for many years since and now I have the joy of combining my love of creativity with my love of Psychology - I have an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and can now offer many sources of support.
A few of the things that make me, me.
I love plant-based food in all its fresh, fried and baked glory. Last supper? It would have to be something Italian with tomatoes and an amazing olive oil; a spaghetti arrabiata would be perfect.
Ten years ago I tried my hand at stand up comedy. That was a laugh.
Favourite book? Stoner by John Williams, a beautiful study in the value of an ordinary life. If you haven’t already, you should definitely read this.
Favourite place? I try to go to Cornwall whenever I can - it soothes my soul.
I have two dogs. They are my personal trainers; Bunty and Daphne.
I have two daughters that I adore. I also have a husband - he’s quite nice as well.
My credentials
MSc, PGCE, QTS, PGDip, LLB(Hons), Solicitor (N/P)
